The monastery of Agia Triada Vrontou is located on the northern hill of Olympus, in a gorge near the abandoned village of Vrontou. The old monastery retains its katholicon, a cross-shaped church with a dome, adorned with frescoes from the 18th century. Near the monastery is the chapel of Agia Kori, where there is also a holy spring in an impressive, precipitous cave.
