The monastery of Agia Triada is near the old village of Vrontou, in an amazing scenery, next to an Olympus gorge bearing the same name. The view to the gorge and the surrounding thickly forested area, with the deep slopes and the high peaks of Olympus leaves the visitor in awe and beguilement. Currently, the only part of the monastery still surviving is the stone, cross-shaped church with its dome standing over the crest of the rock. Inside the church, there are murals dating to the first half of the 18th century bearing the marks of the time that has passed over them since the abandonment of the monastery.
